HOW YOUR DATE NIGHT UNFOLDS

PART ONE — PREPARE YOUR EVENING

Enter your names, select your preferred dinner experience, and use the shopping and cooking guidance if you choose.

Cook together, enjoy your meal, put on your favorite evening attire, and create a little restaurant atmosphere at home.

PART TWO — ENTER THE VELVET ROOM

When you're ready, begin Act I.

A cinematic introduction welcomes you to the reopening of the Velvet Room, introduces the investigation, and sets the scene.

You'll meet the four suspects and begin collecting evidence.

PART THREE — FOLLOW THE EVIDENCE

Continue through three story acts.

Examine timelines, suspicious statements, documents, and physical evidence. Discuss your discoveries and decide which details matter.

There are two separate questions to untangle: who stole the sapphire, and who committed the murder?

Your evidence board allows you to revisit clues and reconsider earlier assumptions.

PART FOUR — MAKE YOUR PRIVATE ACCUSATIONS

This is where your date night gets particularly interesting.

Each partner takes a private turn entering their answers on the shared screen while the other looks away.

Your verdicts remain concealed during the handoff.

You can agree, disagree, or reach entirely different conclusions.

Both players must submit their verdicts before the final reveal becomes available.

PART FIVE — THE MIDNIGHT REVEAL

Return to the screen together and unlock the conclusion.

Discover what really happened, compare your results, see your individual scores, and find out whether you solved both mysteries.

Finally, enjoy your dessert and save your personalized digital keepsake as a reminder of your evening.
